Our Christmas present to you...

As promised, Hush DJs have pulled through to bring you this fantastic selection of tracks which we're really feeling at the moment. 80% on the deeper side but not so deep you're out of your depth, 110% listenable we hope. New tracks, old tracks - most of them able to buy tracks. Particular mention to Numan and Dark Sky for hooking us up with a couple of new beats. Watch those two particularly closely in the new year. Big things.

Enough of the chat. Snatch this up sharpish and get it on in the background to whatever you're doing. Let us know how it goes down and share the link around if you're feeling it.

Germany's next top wobble...

Finishing the year in true festive spirit Bukez Finezt has recently made 12 tracks available to download. Some good, some not so good. I've picked out the best from the bunch but if you dig his sound - then you can pick the whole lot up from here.

With a long background in producing, having previously been a Drum n Bass head he knows his way around the software and is set to come out with something special in the near future. He has releases on Barish Records and Tuff Love Dubs (Ultrablack's new label), to name a couple and also - "Code Red" and "Watz Crackin" are forthcoming on an EP with Suspect on Prime Audio.

Drop It Like It's WobWob
The Illest
Heymischer Bulga (Remix) - Al Jawala

You into that Jakwob esque electro pop shit? This one's for you...

You Still Hurt Me (Remix) - William Fitzsimmons

This is the last post of this kind for a while - with a new year we see a new direction, you'll love it.

Early festive treats...

Sorry about the slackness recently but things are getting hectic in the run up to Christmas, too many things to do, too little time! All good though cos I got a couple of special treats for you loyal peeps that keep checkin back. Anyone notice a little something different about the site? We've decided to try and get into the festive spirit properly. We want to have a new header for the twelve days of Christmas. Anyone fancy giving it a go?

First off this freshie from our boy Jayou - is nearly a year ago since our first post on him. What a long way he's come since then. Collaborating with one of the biggest names in the industry - mad huh?! Not too much about the tune cos I'm sure it'll make a big impression on all of you. Am digging the big spacey ravey vibes, classic original vocal but this twist is set to turn the heat up a notch in the club.

Murderer (Diplo & Jayou Remix) - Partysquad

Next up a freebie from the Bassnectar labs. He's been touring a lot recently and I think he might have lost his marbles which sparked the bootleg. An instrumental version of the tune is available on his website. From the man himself...

"This is just a simple chunk of bass and beats, probably not dubstep because it is 20 bpm faster, probably not D&B because it doesn't follow the rules, but its thick and deep and it should be yours. If you are a DJ and want a nice instrumental banger for your sets, this jam has some heavy bass and a nice clean beat loop at the beginning running at 85 bpm...perfect to thicken up any hip hop, drum & bass, dub, downtempo or dubstep track, also a nice little acapella synth at the end..."

Where Is My Mind - Bassnectar

Chilled tune from the new signing to Sly Fly Records. Just what I'm into at the moment, nice beat, soothing atmospherics and the odd melodic stab to keep you on your toes.

Bashful - BangaTang

Lastly, that man who put together that fuckin' brilliant mix, Phaeleh, has recently uploaded a few new tunes on his myspace which fit into the same category as his mix. Go check em out.

Spirals (Feat. Anneka) - Phaeleh [RUDEEE]

More treats on the way...

1. Sun To Me (Emalkay Remix) - Faithless

2. Skull Crusher - Numan

3. Rising Sun (Boogaloo Crew Remix) - DRT

4. Hide & Seek (Roksonix Remix) - Imogen Heap

5. Fella Trix - PndaLogk

It's that time again - number 4 which means they've been running 8 months. Still going strong and you won't find a more in it for the music crowd in London. Oh and it's free! As usual the podcast has been put together for all the info you need, background on the artists, interviews and mixes to get you hype. This one I'm told is full to the brim with brand new dubs. Get on it!

Podcast 004

To fit nicely alongside here's a mini showcase of each of the artists...

1. Ashburner - Cured [For The Win]
2. M.I.A. - XR2 (Ashburner Remix) [dub]
3. Boyson - Untitled [dub]
4. Tempa T - Next Hype (Ashburner Remix) [dub]
5. Dropfellas - Crashed Monkey [Quantum Bit]
6. Boyson & Krooks - Domino [dub]

Reeeeemix time...

Circus Records are currently running a remix competition for Flux Pavilion's track Voscillate. The winning track will be released digitally alongside the original!

Get the vocals now...

Closing date is 11/01/10.

He goes by the name...

NumberNin6 broke onto the scene with a bang back just a little over a year ago. For those that don't know about that infamous remix, where have you been?! Since then it's been a bumpy ride trying to get releases actually out in the shops. Both of the following two releases were supposed to be out by now, the latest news is that they've been pushed back yet again. He's not a happy bunny so he's decided to go ahead with the promo for you lot to get excited about anyway.

Firstly, out in the next couple of weeks this huge release on Rob Sparx's Migration Recordings backed by Z-Audio. All the tunes out on the label so far have been top notch, oh and Sour Grapes too? Yeh they're all perfectly engineered, well mastered, on-another-level-tunes set to send the crowd nuts.

Back to the focus. These first three won't be quite what you're expecting but, huge nonetheless. Oozing with care and thought plus the blatant hours spent in the studio - remember he's a full time medical student as well!

A With You

B1 Mannequins

B2 She

Secondly, if that wasn't enough, there's this release which is out around February 2010. This is on a new label run by Dieselboy, distributed by ST Holdings. He brings his distinct, heavier sound back to the table, get those subs turned up and funny faces at the ready.

subHUMAN 001

A Hunt You Down

B Garbage

With the news of yet another delay he's resorted to giving out one of the tracks he's been holding on to dearly.

"I guess this is my way of saying that I wish my EPs came out earlier, but here's something to keep the energy going while we wait. DJ support from Bassnectar, Nero, Reso, True Tiger camp and others."

Mosh - NumberNin6 [RUDEEE]

Last Night In Brooklyn (NumberNin6 Remix) - Innerpartysystem

The remix has been made available on another site - the catch is you need to sign in and go to the downloads section...

With 350 already confirmed on Facebook this is set to be the biggest one yet. The last three were huge anyway!
